Desperation must turn us to the right solution

When you are desperate what would you do? I suppose it depends on how desperate you are. We may remember stories of how humans became cannibals when they are desperately hungry. When your child is drowning, you will do everything possible to save the child even if it means losing your own life. I wonder what is going through the minds of the divers saving the boys in the Thai cave. In desperation this father killed his eldest son.

2 Kings 3:27, Then he took his eldest son who would have reigned in his place, and offered him as a burnt offering upon the wall; and there was great indignation against Israel. So they departed from him and returned to their own land.

Human sacrifice is practiced because people are desperate and they have no where to turn. It is encouraged by demon possessed mediums that desire these sacrifices. It brings greater destructible to those that have a desperate need. Even today many large projects have human sacrifices. This happens all over the world. Elisha the prophet knew the heart of the kings. He gave honor to the king of Judah, but spoke bluntly with the king of Israel.

Actions against God's creation must stop. Desperation must turn us back and reconcile with the creator. Father, let me speak boldly like Elisha today. People are desperate. They need to know the best solution.

Heavenly courage and capability

Where does my help come from?

When things do not go the way you wish, you get frustrated, disappointed, or depressed. I urge you to not give up. The matter that is causing this is not worth processing in the mind or the heart. It is best to seek help. Help is best sought from family. This is God's design. But in today's world, this may not be an option for many. We need God. "Being Ready" cannot wait

Ready for the end of the world? Ready for death? I am sure many reading this are indifferent to this question. You don't care. But if you care about what you eat each day. You care about who you meet. You care about your health. And perhaps, you even care about people, your community and/or the environment. Then, you are avoiding the question about being ready for the most important event of your life, because you don't know the answer. John writes about this in Revelations. You will look good

In today's world many are not happy with how they look naturally. They do everything possible to get it "right". Some of these include almost permanent changes that affects their bodies for the rest of their lives. This includes tattoos. I am not going to saying anything about this but we need to be careful about the agenda of people that do these things. There is something better. Revelation 22:4, They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. How God's name is going to be on our foreheads, I am not sure.
