Helen Adams Keller was an American author, political activist, and lecturer. She was the first deaf-blind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree. This is one of her famous quotes as a deaf and blind person, "The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision". I found this very profound when I first read about her.
