I had an experience of a smaller scale in this area. When I finished my O (stands for "Ordinary") level examinations in Malaysia (a major examination that determines your future academic path) I left for Canada to do my final year of high school l to get into university. While I was in my first semester, I got news from Malaysia that I had failed my O level examinations.
