Words of encouragement and affirmation always go a long way. Everyone love kind words. Who does not appreciate some sincere praise? Praise is a way for a leader, a parent or a teacher to show what meets their approval. It is powerful if used correctly. It can transform a person. God is no different. He also bestows genuine praise. Matthew 3:16-17 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Jesus has just been baptized by John the Baptist and the Father from heaven speaks. We can learn great truths from our loving God. If Jesus, God, can be praised by God then this is a character of God to have in our own lives.
