Cry out and your needs will be met

What is the biggest challenge you are facing right now? Nothing is impossible to face if you are with God. He nourishes and looks into our every need. The question is whether we trust His word. Paul lived a lifestyle trusting God. Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Again, I am reminded that He will take care of it. What is the challenge? It is never too hard for God. Is He not the King of kings and Lord of lords. He is ready to supply: Philippians 4:19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Our lives are constantly on the edge with different matters for consideration. God is there ready to intervene. Call to Him now. Cry out to Him in your desperate situation. Father, yes, I cry out to you!

Nothing is impossible

Sometimes we take for granted our situations in life.  We fail to realize that things can get pretty bad very quickly.  In those times we feel hopeless and desperate.  We try everything possible and sometimes make it worse than before.  That is what happened with my family when I was growing up from about 11 years old.  My Mum would try everything possible, including going to various temples and mediums.  They obviously did not work. They are wise to do evil, But to do good they have no knowledge.” Desperation is the word to describe the feeling in Jeremiah Chapter 4. Of course the people of Israel and Judah have been given clear warnings about what would happen if they persisted in their pursuit of other gods. The warning is clear that a conqueror is coming from the north. What can they do? We know that God can cha...

Crying is good

Men do not cry! Agree or disagree? Contrary to public opinion, crying is healthy. Perhaps this is why women live longer than men. Of course you can argue that there are many other factors to consider. However, I believe an outward expression of your emotions is always good. King David cried a lot. Psalms 6:6 I am weary with my groaning; All night I make my bed swim; I drench my couch with my tears. You may read this and say it is all figure of speech. David was pursued relentlessly by Saul. It was over a number of years. Possibly over 10 years. It may have seemed that he would be a fugitive all his life. But David knew who he could go to. He cried before God and found comfort in Him. What do you do when you are are in trouble? Who do you run to? I run to God. I want to be in the palm of His hands. He is my Great Shepherd and Deliverer. Do you know the God that I serve? Father, eternity is where I am headed, but while I dwell on this earth, I am at peace because I know who holds ...
