I am sure many of you have read the fact that, on a per capita basis, the people of Israel or the Jews have the highest number of inventors, scientists and nobel prize winners. This is no small accomplishment. And perhaps for this very reason, many nations of the world would like to see them wiped off the face of the earth. It is truly a herd mentality in most cases. Almost like a lynch mob that has forgotten why they doing what they are doing. Paul is however very downtrodden that his people, the people of Israel, are not turning to the Lord.
