When the end is near you sit at the edge of your seat and hope for the best ending possible. The hero must not die. The heroine must be saved. There must be great celebration at the end of good over evil. But wait before that there is that last bit showing people being beat up, people dying and the evil winning. Such was the case in this chapter of Jesus' life before He was crucified. Matthew 26:64 Jesus said to him, “It is as you said. Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.” Many in history denied the divinity of Jesus Christ, and still do.
