Sure and Steadfast

I was in the Boys Brigade once a long time ago when I was 12. I attended it for a good 2 years at a Methodist Church near my home at that time, before I decided to join the Boy Scouts in my school. One of the fond memories I had was singing the theme song, " We have an anchor ". I was not a Christian then, but it planted seeds of faith for me. The following verse may have inspired this song, or reaffirms the words of the song. Hebrews 6:19-20 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.
