A friend of mine just saw someone wearing a t-shirt saying, "Life is the slowest form of suicide". What do you think about this statement? I know a number of people that are in 90's. One 94 year old former President of the United States just died a few days ago. Is life meant to be that bad a struggle? One of Job's friends thinks this way as well. Job 5:7, Yet man is born to trouble, As the sparks fly upward. What is wrong with these people? I believe it has something to do with their misconception of God. He even says how you are to worship God. Job 5:23, For you shall have a covenant with the stones of the field, And the beasts of the field shall be at peace with you. Unless I am reading this wrong, Job's friend is asking him to worship or have a communion with stones in the field. What a foolish thing to do.
