We seem to be caught up with things that are not Godly on a daily basis. Our goal is to either look good in front of people or to make best use of our time on earth and indulge in self gratifying activities. Both destroy a person and God knows that. God's instruction to us is clear and Paul reminds Titus of this. Titus 2:11-14 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. Rely on His grace that brings salvation or deliverance. We have a human tendency towards that which seems to destroy us.
