I read the news each day and I read how man thinks he can control his destiny. I suppose I should not fault them when they have chosen to believe that there is no God, or God is disinterested in the affairs of man. What a LIE! Again no surprise when man has conveniently ignored facts and information that does not fit their predispositions. Jeremiah chapter 16 s full of God's pronouncement of judgement against the Jews. The part that jumps out at me is the fact that they will no longer be referred to as the people that came from Egypt but a people that came back to the promised land from being scattered all over the world starting with the North (verses 14 and 15).
