There are many things under the sun that are not new. One of them is sin. It includes many things. Among them is the pursuit of unnatural sexual pleasure between two people of the same sex. Based on what happened in Sodom, it seems to predate Abraham. Genesis 19:5, And they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.” They were trying to have sex with these 2 angels that were visiting Sodom. The men of Sodom certainly picked the wrong people or beings. It says here that there were young and old from every quarter of the city. Which means this was an acceptable part of the culture of Sodom. We have similar conditions today.
