On a Friday and everyone screams Thank God it's Friday. Wok with Yan , the old popular Chinese cooking show, joked that "Fly Day" was Chinese Air Force Day. But whether we celebrate the end of a tough week or have a joke about it, it is all temporary. There is a longer lasting joy promised in this chapter. Isaiah 55:12 “For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Reading this verse reminds me of a song written to this verse . This joy that has a foundation. It is sustainable. It comes from knowing God, like you would someone like your wife or mother. It is not good enough to know about God. You need to know Him. Real joy will come. Read the whole chapter . It is powerful.
