What comes first? Character or Performance Outcome? You may be wondering what I am getting at. I have seen many trying to get successful quickly without thinking about what it takes to have sustainable success. Yes, you may have "success" but it is not sustainable. True success is the result of great character. It includes character traits or qualities like diligence, responsibility, endurance, creativity, patience and tolerance (especially if working in teams). Character comes first! I believe, as the writer of Proverbs says it, this focus on character helps us understand the need for Godly wisdom. Focusing on silver and gold, or the performance outcome will not work.
