Just when you think everything is going well, something goes wrong. Sound familiar? You feel all alone and depressed. No one to turn to. Perhaps we have sinned and gone far from God. Isaiah 59:16 He saw that there was no man, And wondered that there was no intercessor; Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; And His own righteousness, it sustained Him. Finally, God has to do it Himself. This is what Isaiah is saying. Man can only be saved by God. He came down to earth Himself. Ministered to us, suffered, died and rose again to bring salvation for all man. Jesus was no mere human being. He was not just a prophet. He was and is God Himself.
