If you are doing a new big thing, you may feel overwhelmed with the task. Sometimes this is referred to as being thrown into the deep end. Basically you either sink (and drown) or swim. I have been in those situations many times in my career and I have learnt to pray "hard" on the job. Yes, pray big time for everything from difficult clients and other stakeholders to big meetings involving heads of large corporations and governments. It was something I learnt to do early in my career and I carried on more intensely as I took on more senior roles.
