Another chapter of pure description of one's love for another person. The bride and groom are openly and intimately sharing with each other. There is a mention of nature and going out together to enjoy nature together. Why not? As mentioned earlier in my posts, this is within a God honoring relationship where husband and wife and enjoying their intimate God given relationship. Many of the verses are too intimate to repeat here and so I only mention verse 5. :)
The Song of Solomon 7:5
Your head crowns you like Mount Carmel,
And the hair of your head is like purple;
A king is held captive by your tresses.
If husbands and wives today continue to share these intimate moments, there is no reason for souring of relationships, fights and ultimately divorce. I once read the sad news of domestic violence that escalated to possibly one person killing the other with a firearm in New Zealand, and then turning the firearm on themselves in possibly great regret. Why the fit of rage when we can focus on what is pleasant and good?
Father God, after more than 25 years of marriage (married December 28, 1991), help Lee Yen and I build our relationship for greater blessing for us and those around us, especially our children.
