Isaiah Chapter 12 is so captivating. I have decided to repeat it here to make sure we don't miss any of God's promises here. And these are given a few hundred years before Jesus' birth which is celebrated as Christmas, and His death and resurrection which is remembered as Good Friday and Easter.
Isaiah 12: You will say in that day: “I will give thanks to you, O Lord, for though you were angry with me, your anger turned away, that you might comfort me. “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. And you will say in that day: “Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted. “Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth. Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.”
The last part encourages us to jubilantly proclaim this wonderful information for all to hear. I pray the reader of my blog shares my joy at knowing God. If you don't, you are welcome to pray this direct and personal prayer where you are sitting, kneeling, standing, walking or in any other posture that you feel comfortable:
"Father, I thank you for your incredible love for me demonstrated through the plan of salvation planned from the beginning of time. I acknowledge that I am a sinner with great propensity to sin rather than listening to my God-given conscience. I accept your salvation given through the death and resurrection of your son Jesus Christ, who is You coming personally for this plan. I now make You my Lord and Master. In Jesus name I pray. Amen!
If that was your prayer, I would encourage you to find the nearest church that believes in the Bible and His plan of salvation, and start your journey in God. Or you can reach out directly to me at sreedhar.my@gmail.com.
Father, I pray your blessing upon each one that reads this post. May they find a wonderful relationship with You as I have.
