I am not alone and there is no fear

Have you come up against challenges that you thought you could not handle? I have! The Lord continuously reminds me of His constant presence to be able to overcome every challenge. Those who do not know the Lord have to lean on their own wisdom and strength. Most people that I know rely on their own belief systems to help them. But it is not the perfect solution.

Isaiah 7:4

And say to him, Be careful, be quiet, do not fear, and do not let your heart be faint because of these two smoldering stumps of firebrands, at the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria and the son of Remaliah.

Yes, be careful, be quiet, do not fear, and do not let your heart be faint! The key message from God through Isaiah to King Ahaz is that he needs to have faith. Suddenly Isaiah rolls into the future by sharing the prophecy of Jesus' virgin birth and the fact that "God is with us". A confidence booster for Ahaz? I am sure it was.

Father, No matter what the challenges, how big the challengers may be, and how complex they all are, I know you are with me.

Can the impossible become possible? I have read many stories of rags to riches and have been naturally impressed by everything that has been said. It required great persistence, hardwork, endurance and something else. That something else is what differentiates between one rags to riches story, and the many other rags to rags stories. Over 30 years ago I was contemplating my plans for the future while helping a dear Brother in the Lord do some minor repairs around the house. Nothing serious was moving in my applications for jobs in Canada or the US. You will look good

In today's world many are not happy with how they look naturally. They do everything possible to get it "right". Some of these include almost permanent changes that affects their bodies for the rest of their lives. This includes tattoos. I am not going to saying anything about this but we need to be careful about the agenda of people that do these things. There is something better. Revelation 22:4, They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. How God's name is going to be on our foreheads, I am not sure. Years ago I watched a movie that played out the end times based on Revelations. It was quite dramatic and scary, but had a happy ending. This is what has been planned from the beginning of time. This chapter in Revelations gives a quick snapshot of the end. Revelation 20:4, And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. It did not occur to me until much later in my Christian life that there will be a thousand years when followers of Christ will reign on earth.
