I have a big challenge. I love to serve but there is only one of me. And so when I make a commitment I cannot fulfill, it is bad. I will endeavor to pace myself to keep everything in order. I will continue to submit everything to God to gain greatest order in everything I do. But Saul had a different problem. He was unfaithful.
1 Chronicles 10:13, So Saul died for his unfaithfulness which he had committed against the Lord, because he did not keep the word of the Lord, and also because he consulted a medium for guidance.
Saul put himself in a corner when pride, arrogance and self reliance caused him to ignore God. It is a bad move. Anything done with human effort alone does not work. It is deprived of God's hand and wisdom. Why do something without the input and blessing of someone who is all powerful, all knowing and all present?
Father, let me never do anything without your power and strength.
