Time to believe the truth and throw away irrational ideas and fear

When a crisis hits, people do irrational things that are self serving and make no sense.  We are ready to fight over the smallest things like a piece of bread, or even toilet paper.  It is no longer just a run on the bank since that is avoided with all the bank insurance programs that helps support the multitude of depositors.  Perhaps people are even ready to kill each other in time of great irrational need because they cannot believe the truth.  Instead, they believe lies like the evolution theory and the bible is a book of myth and fables, or altered over time.

Ezekiel 32:11-12
‘For thus says the Lord GOD: “The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon you. By the swords of the mighty warriors, all of them the most terrible of the nations, I will cause your multitude to fall. “They shall plunder the pomp of Egypt, And all its multitude shall be destroyed.

In case you are wondering, the prophecy of the downfall of Egypt was indeed fulfilled. The Battle of Carchemish is where Egypt, Assyria and its allies were first very badly defeated, and this defeat led to extended major war campaigns in Egypt by the Babylonian army. It is like saying ISIS defeated the allied forces led by the Americans. Unimaginable but true. Ezekiel could have been laughed at for saying all this but was vindicated when it actually happened.

So what are your views about the rest of the prophecies in the bible? Have you read the Bible? No other book has traversed that much time and accurately predicted so much. You cannot not read it. It is not only meant to be informational, it is meant to be personally transformational. What are you waiting for? Yes, the society you live in may have much to say about the Word, but everything said is irrational. Time to be rational and read the Bible.

Are we there yet? I can just hear my children asking, when they were young. When you are on a long journey, or even a short one, children get restless about being confined to a car during a journey.  I do not blame them because they have limited or no historical experience to rely on. A promise that demonstrates great interest and care in our well being

We commonly call someone who has helped us significantly with something or a good person, "You are an Angel".  I am reminded of the angels God sends to be around us for our protection and to carry out God's instructions for our well-being. Many of us may wish that our eyes would be opened to see the angels of God around us. Zechariah speaks of seeing angels over Jerusalem. Indeed Jerusalem has a special place in God's heart. Zechariah 2:3-5 And there was the angel who talked with me, going out; and another angel was coming out to meet him, who said to him, “Run, speak to this young man, saying: ‘Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it. I have decided to do right today

Have you been told off for something that you may or may not have done wrong?  How did you feel?  I usually feel rotten.  I get a mix of guilt and anger, but these situations have tremendously reduced with my growing relationship with God.  You want to say many things to justify your actions (or inaction), but it is usually of little value.  Accept everything said (or written) as good feedback, and do better the next time. I may have said this popular quote before, insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. If our plan is for better success then the approach needs to be changed. Or perhaps unconventional. The old ways cannot remain. David did the unthinkable. 1 Samuel 27:1, And David said in his heart, “Now I shall perish someday by the hand of Saul. There is nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape to the land of the Philistines; and Saul will despair of me, to seek me anymore in any part of Israel.
