Yesterday I wrote about the enemy within being dangerous. While that may be the case, you could become a strong influence to make your enemies God fearing and great neighbors. The people of Israel continued to settle with the people of Canaan in their midst.
Joshua 16:10, And they did not drive out the Canaanites who dwelt in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites to this day and have become forced laborers.
There is a saying that, "If you can't beat them, join them". I would say something else. If you can't beat them, influence them for good. Right from those ancient times, the blessing of a relationship with God was to be experienced by all people. Abraham, the forefather of the people of Israel, was promised this of his descendents. What does it take? Our position in God and obedience to His ways must be evident.
Father, let me be an influencer for good so that many will be blessed.
