Make a decision

Are you a decisive person? Once I was with a successful leader who remains active to this day at the age of 93. He was asked what is his biggest regret in life. He aptly replied, "I am not a navel gazer. I don't typically look back at things, but one of the things that I would do better is to be more decisive. When you make a decision, you can only improve on something, but you cannot improve on nothing". If you are reading this please do not hold back on the biggest decision of your life. Follow Jesus!

2 Corinthians 6:2
For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

God has spoken to all of us in our daily circumstances. Through my sharing in this blog. Through the history of man. Through some of the oldest literature of each civilization. An example of this is the vedic scriptures of the Indians. Read it here. Also, many of the Chinese characters are formulated based on historical events in the bible. View this video.

That's right. Two of the biggest ethnic populations in the world has been spoken to in history. There is nothing new. They have been distracted by other things. God is urging us to return to Him.

2 Corinthians 6:16-18
And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the LORD Almighty.”

The Hindu temple has the same structure as the Jewish temple, but the worship needs to return to the Almighty God.  The Chinese have many practices that connect to God's creative and redemptive work.  They need to stop connecting them to superstitions and folklore and return to their Creator God.  All peoples need to hear the Heavenly Father's cry to see all return to Him.

Father, speak to us and help us return to the faith of our forefathers. Help us be decisive now and not make the mistake of doing nothing.

No fear, a miracle is coming

Are you ready for miracles? Are there things going on in your life that can only be changed or improved by a miracle? We sometimes come to the end of ourselves and do not know where to turn. Heavenly courage and capability

Anybody reading this belongs to the military or was in the military? I commend you if you were. Whatever reason you were part of the military, it takes great courage to perform your role. If you are protecting the sovereignty of a country and you go beyond the call of service, your work is beyond anything money can pay. Such a person that acted in this manner was Abram. "Being Ready" cannot wait

Ready for the end of the world? Ready for death? I am sure many reading this are indifferent to this question. You don't care. But if you care about what you eat each day. You care about who you meet. You care about your health. And perhaps, you even care about people, your community and/or the environment. Then, you are avoiding the question about being ready for the most important event of your life, because you don't know the answer. John writes about this in Revelations. Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near. A promise that demonstrates great interest and care in our well being

We commonly call someone who has helped us significantly with something or a good person, "You are an Angel".  I am reminded of the angels God sends to be around us for our protection and to carry out God's instructions for our well-being. Many of us may wish that our eyes would be opened to see the angels of God around us. Zechariah speaks of seeing angels over Jerusalem. Indeed Jerusalem has a special place in God's heart. Zechariah 2:3-5 And there was the angel who talked with me, going out; and another angel was coming out to meet him, who said to him, “Run, speak to this young man, saying: ‘Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it. When you see a young man and women fall in love with each other it is easy to see how they are lost in each other's eyes.  They are oblivious to others and cannot get enough of each other.  Time to together is limitless and, today with free messaging services, uncountable text messages. The Song of Solomon 3:4 Scarcely had I passed by them, When I found the one I love. I held him and would not let him go, Until I had brought him to the house of my mother, And into the chamber of her who conceived me. As I read today's chapter I was not sure how to add to its very direct message of the need for the bride to wait with eagerness for her groom. It is clear that because the groom is Solomon, much admiration and good words are recorded.
