Go direct with no intermediaries

Michael Dell was probably one of the first people to commercialize the idea that going direct to the manufacturer made more sense than buying from a distributor or retailer.  Intermediaries make money from making it convenient and hassle free.  This includes wholesale markets and other kinds that consolidate goods for easy "one-stop" purchasing.  Amazon makes huge profits from being an intermediary.  But I predict that one day technology and markets will innovate to remove the "Amazon-type" digital intermediaries.

Wood and stone are commodities used to build many things. One comes out of growth of a plant, the other is the product of minerals that got compressed with high pressure and heat. Both cannot speak to you or have any meaning unless you make them out to be something. And this is the case with the gods that many cultures have created over the centuries. They only found meaning from mere mortals. They were created in "real time", and not "before time". They got the form with human touch, and will not get power without spiritual touch. Where spiritual is concerned, it cannot be God because He does not want us to worship an image of Him. He does not want an intermediary.  He wants us to worship Him alone and directly.

Ezekiel 20:41-42
I will accept you as a sweet aroma when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you have been scattered; and I will be hallowed in you before the Gentiles. Then you shall know that I am the LORD, when I bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for which I raised My hand in an oath to give to your fathers.

The people of Israel kept worshiping the gods of their neighbors.  It was easy and allowed them to be accepted in the region.  Many married these foreign wives and brought these cultures into their families.  Others wanted to "stay correct" in the societies they lived in.  Others still had this attitude that the God of Universe could only be worshiped and reached directly by the elite of society.  The Priests, the Kings, and the "Wise Ones".  They wanted to be able to do the easier thing.  Worship gods that they could handle on the roadside, in their homes, and those they could see.  They worshiped instead the Priests, the Kings, and/or the "Wise Ones".  It was practical but not the best.  They were robbing themselves and their families of God's best.  I am going direct to God as that is what God expects. It is a direct line not an extension. Not an agent. Not a distant connection. Hallelujah! I am going direct.  No intermediaries.

Heavenly courage and capability

Anybody reading this belongs to the military or was in the military? I commend you if you were. Whatever reason you were part of the military, it takes great courage to perform your role. Time to return to an old and faithful relationship

Unfaithfulness or lack of loyalty is prevalent in our society today.  But was it any different "back then"?  This issue is a perennial one.  From ancient times you see switching of loyalties and allegiances to suit the personal agenda of the person.  Sometimes this could involve an entire nation.  The kings, peoples and nation of Israel were no different.  But there is hope. Hosea 3:5 Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They shall fear the LORD and His goodness in the latter days. Hosea was again asked to do a prophetic illustration. He was to take on a harlot and demonstrate Israel's unfaithfulness. It was sad. "Being Ready" cannot wait

Ready for the end of the world? Ready for death? I am sure many reading this are indifferent to this question. You don't care. But if you care about what you eat each day. I am in the last chapter of the Song of Solomon and it continues in intensity about the value of love. It is priceless. It is equated to a mother's love in some sense. Money cannot buy it. The Song of Solomon 8:2 I would lead you and bring you Into the house of my mother, She who used to instruct me. I would cause you to drink of spiced wine, Of the juice of my pomegranate. If your interest is temporary illicit love, stop because it cannot be bought or earned. It is a God thing. Our relationship with our beloved wife is like a mother's. Keep to the Original

When you buy things, a branded piece of garment mostly gives you an assurance that it meets a certain set standard of quality.  It allows you to decide whether paying a certain price is worth the money.  A cheap brand attracts a low value, while an expensive one probably has the design and other qualities that are worth paying for.  I have my favorite brands not because I am brand conscious, but because I want to be assured of the value experience.  I sometimes try new brands, but as a test.  However, I am wary of "copycats".  I prefer to stay with the ORIGINAL.
