Start them young by being a very present parent

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 19.7 million children, more than 1 in 4, live without a father in the home. Many social ills follow as a result. This type of lifestyle is being subtly promoted through many government and multilateral agencies. What is wrong with these people. Studies have shown that parents have a great deal of impact on a child's development. A parent's absence reaps great long term challenges for society. The same can be seen in the children of Israel.

Lamentations 1:5

Her adversaries have become the master, Her enemies prosper; For the Lord has afflicted her. Because of the multitude of her transgressions. Her children have gone into captivity before the enemy.

Such was the lament of Jeremiah the prophet. The old renowned Jerusalem was no more. Such would be the case when the Lord departs from you. The people were worshiping other gods that could not save them. Such was the dire situation resulting from the disobedience of the people of Israel. You wonder why the people of Israel did this. Foreign wives? Improperly discipled children? Poor counsel?

I am convinced that you attract trouble when you poorly disciple your children into adulthood at their preadolescence stage. They need strong mentoring from age 10. So that by 13 they are ready to lead. The kings of Israel and Judah lacked good mentoring and they strayed. I am also not perfect in this area and I need to do better.

Father please help me with this truth to help many families and the nations. The once great nation of the US is crumbling because the family unit is breaking and children are left without proper discipleship.

Seek a good personal testimony

In the same way you can have professional wedding planners, you also have funeral planners. I know some of you who are superstitious will be saying "touch wood". Can the impossible become possible? I have read many stories of rags to riches and have been naturally impressed by everything that has been said. It required great persistence, hardwork, endurance and something else. That something else is what differentiates between one rags to riches story, and the many other rags to rags stories. Over 30 years ago I was contemplating my plans for the future while helping a dear Brother in the Lord do some minor repairs around the house. Nothing serious was moving in my applications for jobs in Canada or the US. At a Monday night College and Career Bible Study at Stone Church , Toronto, I got my direction through this passage and some other information God placed there that night. And so within a week I bought my one way ticket to Malaysia. That was a significant move for me as a 23 year old. You will look good

In today's world many are not happy with how they look naturally. They do everything possible to get it "right". Some of these include almost permanent changes that affects their bodies for the rest of their lives. This includes tattoos. I am not going to saying anything about this but we need to be careful about the agenda of people that do these things. There is something better. Revelation 22:4, They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. How God's name is going to be on our foreheads, I am not sure. But it would be like wearing a uniform of an organization that you are very proud of, and want to be associated with publicly. There will also be the tree of life. There will be no more pain. You are powerless

Years ago I watched a movie that played out the end times based on Revelations. It was quite dramatic and scary, but had a happy ending. This is what has been planned from the beginning of time. This chapter in Revelations gives a quick snapshot of the end. Revelation 20:4, And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. It did not occur to me until much later in my Christian life that there will be a thousand years when followers of Christ will reign on earth.
