Prosperity is something everyone aims for in their lives. The Chinese people are no different. The word for prosperity sounds like the number of eight (8) in their language. And so, many Chinese like their home addresses, car registration plates, phone numbers having a combination of numbers that includes eight in it. This is also a good way to remember Romans chapter 8 that has so many great promises from God. Promises that are worth more than anything money can buy.
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
That's right. If we are living by the Spirit of God we are children of the Almighty God! My earthly father passed away early January 2016, but I have a heavenly Father who lives from eternity to eternity, and cares for me all the time! You also may have lost a father to death. Rest assured that God is your eternal heavenly Dad!
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
He loves me. I may suffer many things but nothing can separate me from the love of Christ, from a relationship with Almighty God. We are more than conquerors. He helps to pray in the midst of our adversities. Remember Romans 8. The chapter of God's prosperity for all of us.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Father, Thank you for your promises!
