Do you know Jesus and would you like to experience the love of God through a personal relationship with Him?

I regularly look for news reports that highlight good news and I usually have a hard time looking for any. All the top featured news and the lesser important news on a news media's front page on the web is mostly negative news. I only found some positive news on a regional news portal in New Zealand. We seem to be focusing on highlighting the bad rather than the good. I suppose this is a reflection of our human nature that has a tendency to "look for the bad" and either "scold it" or "gossip about it". We need bearers of good news so that people are not ignorant.

Romans 10:3
For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.

Romans 10:14-15
How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

We need to bear the good news of salvation for the masses. The media is preoccupied with negative news.  Even negative news about the church with all the pedophile and other ungodly activity among church leaders. We need bearers of positive news. It starts with us writing and publishing it. Are you ready to proclaim that there is a permanent solution to all the issues of life?  Are we ready to ask someone TODAY whether they knew Jesus and would like to experience the love of God through a personal relationship with Him?  You have beautiful feet, use them.

Or perhaps, you are reading this post and do not know Jesus and need to experience the love of God.  Do read my personal testimony of how I met Jesus and experienced His love.  Make a personal commitment to Him.  I am not asking you to join my church or a church.  I am asking you to have a restored relationship with our Heavenly Dad.  Yes, He is your heavenly Dad.  His children can fail, but He does not.  The world is condemned and you can see it all around.  God says it in the Bible, and He tells you why.  God's desire is that you experience His presence and promises.  Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life, and no man comes to the Father except by me".  Accept the Lord Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you will experience the perfect love of God.  His perfect love casts out ALL fear.  The condemned nature of the world is not for us.  God desires is that all be saved from this condemned world.  Will you accept His offer of love today?

Father, thank you for the opportunity to speak into cyberspace to proclaim the good news of the gospel.  I am going to urge all my friends to ask the same question.

Seek a good personal testimony

In the same way you can have professional wedding planners, you also have funeral planners. I know some of you who are superstitious will be saying "touch wood". I have written something on this before and you can read it here. Have you planned your funeral? I have not and neither did Abraham plan his wife's funeral until her death. Don't get me wrong. Nothing wrong with planning your funeral but there is something interesting here in this chapter. Genesis 23:6, “Hear us, my lord: You are a mighty prince among us; bury your dead in the choicest of our burial places. None of us will withhold from you his burial place, that you may bury your dead.” Abraham is recognized as a Mighty Prince. He is about to have his first big funeral, and it is for his wife. Rags to riches need something else

Can the impossible become possible? I have read many stories of rags to riches and have been naturally impressed by everything that has been said. It required great persistence, hardwork, endurance and something else. That something else is what differentiates between one rags to riches story, and the many other rags to rags stories. Unfortunately, we do not hear or read many of the latter. The successful ones had a "good break" that is a gift from God. He has plans to prosper you

Over 30 years ago I was contemplating my plans for the future while helping a dear Brother in the Lord do some minor repairs around the house. Nothing serious was moving in my applications for jobs in Canada or the US. At a Monday night College and Career Bible Study at Stone Church , Toronto, I got my direction through this passage and some other information God placed there that night. And so within a week I bought my one way ticket to Malaysia. You will look good

In today's world many are not happy with how they look naturally. They do everything possible to get it "right". Some of these include almost permanent changes that affects their bodies for the rest of their lives. This includes tattoos. I am not going to saying anything about this but we need to be careful about the agenda of people that do these things. There is something better. Revelation 22:4, They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. How God's name is going to be on our foreheads, I am not sure. But it would be like wearing a uniform of an organization that you are very proud of, and want to be associated with publicly. There will also be the tree of life. There will be no more pain. You are powerless

Years ago I watched a movie that played out the end times based on Revelations. It was quite dramatic and scary, but had a happy ending. This is what has been planned from the beginning of time. This chapter in Revelations gives a quick snapshot of the end. Revelation 20:4, And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
