Are you being watched? Is it a foe or friend? Do you have anything to fear or get upset about? Even though your children do not want to be watched, they always appreciate it in the end. I think. At least I would love to have people checking on me and having sincere concern over how I am doing. But too often we expect it and fail to realize that we need to reach out first. We need to stay connected and allow people to minister to us. We tend to isolate ourselves and find "things" to occupy us.
Isaiah 45:22-23
Look to Me, and be saved,
All you ends of the earth!
For I am God, and there is no other.
I have sworn by Myself;
The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness,
And shall not return,
That to Me every knee shall bow,
Every tongue shall take an oath.
Through Isaiah, in this chapter, God makes clear His attributes and what He is capable of. He has total control of human history and can even bless a king (Cyrus) that does not know Him to achieve His purposes. This is the God I serve. And that is why I know that He has concern for me and will take care of me, my family and the work that I am doing. I trust Him completely. The times may be hugely challenging but He will take care of it.
Father, thank you for taking care of me.
