The solution for the world's issues has been provided

Do you have a sense something major is coming soon?  Many of the major powers of the world have issues at home starting with the US President, the UK, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and you can more I am sure.  And then you have major "initiatives" funded/sponsored by groups of individuals, organizations and/or corporations with significant personal interests in these initiatives like LGBTQ!, legalized recreational drugs, legalized prostitution, and legalized infanticide.  But praise God something happened 2,000 years ago that was prophesied 700 years before that.

Isaiah 25:7-8
And He will destroy on this mountain
The surface of the covering cast over all people,
And the veil that is spread over all nations.
He will swallow up death forever,
And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces;
The rebuke of His people
He will take away from all the earth;
For the Lord has spoken.

Wow!  Only God could have orchestrated something like this to deliver us out of this crazy sin and conflict filled world.  Isaiah 25:9 says, "It will be said on that day, “Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the Lord; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation". Yes, God is ever ready to come to our rescue. Are we going to come to Him?  This is exactly why the men of east came looking for Jesus after His birth.

The promise is that all nations that fought against God's people will find that they are powerless and will have great fear for God. That is the testimony that He will show through His people. Are we ready to follow Him?

Father, let me not lose heart in the midst of adversity. You are my victory and salvation. I will continue to trust in you.

Heavenly courage and capability

Anybody reading this belongs to the military or was in the military? I commend you if you were. Whatever reason you were part of the military, it takes great courage to perform your role. If you are protecting the sovereignty of a country and you go beyond the call of service, your work is beyond anything money can pay. Such a person that acted in this manner was Abram. "Being Ready" cannot wait

Ready for the end of the world? Ready for death? I am sure many reading this are indifferent to this question. You don't care. But if you care about what you eat each day. You care about who you meet. You care about your health. And perhaps, you even care about people, your community and/or the environment. Then, you are avoiding the question about being ready for the most important event of your life, because you don't know the answer. John writes about this in Revelations. Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near. Are you ready for miracles? Are there things going on in your life that can only be changed or improved by a miracle? We sometimes come to the end of ourselves and do not know where to turn. There is a silver lining

The phrase "silver lining" is used when you want to emphasize the hopeful side of a situation that might seem gloomy on the surface.  The origin of the phrase seems to be John Milton's 1634 poem "Comus," which includes the line, "Was I deceived? or did a sable cloud/Turn forth her silver lining on the night?" ( Source ).  When you think about it most things is not doom and gloom.  There is a positive side that you can pick up on, because God is watching over us. Be unconventional; it is okay!

In every society and organization there are cultural norms. There are practices that are observed and are deemed normal. Anything else would be unacceptable and may cause the person committing this to be taken out. In a religious context many of these may have no relevance to the practice of the faith. They are just ways to deal with all other aspects of life together. In this regard, Jesus was fairly unconventional. Mark 2:5-7 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” And some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, “Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this?
