Whenever Israel's name is mentioned it is always associated with trouble. Always so many issues. Why? Those not clued in to the historical matters surrounding the Middle East (or West Asia as some would refer to) will not understand why this area attracts so much attention. This generation is mostly only aware of what happened in 1948 with the formation of Israel. Is Israel "entitled" to territories that it now occupies? Are the people cohabitating in those lands the original people of the land? If you are unclear about the answers to these questions best to do some research. The Bible is a good start because it is consistent with the oldest manuscripts available to us today. Whatever your position on the matter, God's sovereign will on the matter prevails. There are human issues on all sides where you can see the evil hand of Satan at work. But there is another kind of trouble and the cause is the same as what we have today.
Luke 4:28-30
So all those in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath, and rose up and thrust Him out of the city; and they led Him to the brow of the hill on which their city was built, that they might throw Him down over the cliff. Then passing through the midst of them, He went His way.
The temptations of Jesus in the desert when He fasted 40 days was real and caused by Satan (or Syaitan in Malay or Arabic). Likewise, there were many possessed by demons during Jesus' days that were healed. In the same way Satan influenced opposition to Jesus' ministry in Nazareth. Demonic forces are real but God is all powerful and we can defeat Satan and his schemes with the power of the Holy Spirit. Satan knows where to touch to bring the greatest challenge to God. My urging to all is that we should read the Bible and know God and His plans through Jesus Christ (Isa al-Masih). Peace will come. Jesus said that you will have peace that passes all understanding. Any other peace is temporary.
Luke 4:18-19
“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”
Luke 4:18-19

Father, let me understand the source of troubles well and seek the peace that passes all understanding.
