Either there will be in fighting by those second in command, or the organization is missing crucial skills and experience to at least sustain its business. Moses was clear about this.
Numbers 27:15-17, Then Moses spoke to the Lord, saying: “Let the Lord, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation, who may go out before them and go in before them, who may lead them out and bring them in, that the congregation of the Lord may not be like sheep which have no shepherd.”

The greatest leaders are those that develop the next echelon of leaders that can outperform them.
Numbers 27:18, And the Lord said to Moses: “Take Joshua the son of Nun with you, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him;
The plan for Israel is clear. Joshua was to lead. Who said it? Obviously God. Moses did not suggest the name. Are we seeking God to give us clear wisdom and direction? Father, we need your wisdom in leading our team and organization entrusted to us.
