Are you superhuman? You may qualify to be the great leader that needs to save the earth. Everybody is saying the earth will come to a tragic end in one way or another. Whether it is the environment, space rocks, religion or war, people are either resigned to these, or a minority are actively doing something to counter these time bombs. Satan has already planned for this superhuman.
Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
Paul gives us a glimpse of what is to come. Revelations says more and I will soon be reading that this year. People think they can out think God. In the process they seek to be honored and worshiped as demigods. All this takes them away from the creator God and Satan knows that.
The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
We who read the ancient scriptures understand the evil schemes of Satan and do not fall for all this. Yes, we need to avert all these possible calamities. But, the solution is from God. Not man. Jesus gave us the solution and we keep moving away from it. I sometimes cry privately about the state of fellow man, many of them relatives and friends.
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.
Father, thank you for your solution for mankind. I accept it with holy awe and gratefulness.
