You cannot right a wrong with another wrong

What is a five letter word with "you" in the middle. We have come into this world through the womb because someone you know has been given the "trust". As you developed in your mother's womb, she has been entrusted by God to carry you full term and give you the life that all human beings deserve. But there are governments around the world who choose to cave in to cruel human beings that want to make women untrustworthy.

We cannot blame the women in the first instance. We are so caught up with the affairs of this world that we forget a new heart has started beating in a mother's womb for whatever reason. If the baby (a human being) is conceived under bad circumstances, does it mean we have the right the correct the wrong with another wrong?

Psalms 13:5
But I have trusted in Your mercy;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.

God is the direct opposite. Thank God! He can be trusted. He does not correct our wrong with a wrong. He corrects it by providing an opportunity for us to be forgiven of our sin and receive the salvation prepared before the beginning of time. He is a just and loving God. He is merciful. He is the judge that pronounced judgment, disrobed, walked down from his seat of judgment and took the punishment for our sin.

Father, help me to understand the importance of trust from your model. Help me be trustworthy in everything you have entrusted to me, especially my family.

Seek a good personal testimony

In the same way you can have professional wedding planners, you also have funeral planners. I know some of you who are superstitious will be saying "touch wood". I have written something on this before and you can read it here. Have you planned your funeral? I have not and neither did Abraham plan his wife's funeral until her death. Don't get me wrong. Rags to riches need something else

Can the impossible become possible? I have read many stories of rags to riches and have been naturally impressed by everything that has been said. It required great persistence, hardwork, endurance and something else. That something else is what differentiates between one rags to riches story, and the many other rags to rags stories. Over 30 years ago I was contemplating my plans for the future while helping a dear Brother in the Lord do some minor repairs around the house. Nothing serious was moving in my applications for jobs in Canada or the US. At a Monday night College and Career Bible Study at Stone Church , Toronto, I got my direction through this passage and some other information God placed there that night. You will look good

In today's world many are not happy with how they look naturally. They do everything possible to get it "right". Some of these include almost permanent changes that affects their bodies for the rest of their lives. This includes tattoos. I am not going to saying anything about this but we need to be careful about the agenda of people that do these things. There is something better. Revelation 22:4, They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. How God's name is going to be on our foreheads, I am not sure. You are powerless

Years ago I watched a movie that played out the end times based on Revelations. It was quite dramatic and scary, but had a happy ending. This is what has been planned from the beginning of time. This chapter in Revelations gives a quick snapshot of the end. Revelation 20:4, And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. It did not occur to me until much later in my Christian life that there will be a thousand years when followers of Christ will reign on earth.
