Meaning in religious practices

There are many old practices in the faith that have tremendous meaning. But many forgot them and continue to engage in the practices with no real meaning. Over time the practices get adulterated with other things and the original meaning can never be truly recovered. One of them is the use of blood sacrifices.

The Jewish passover is probably the most powerful presentation of God's plan of salvation.

2 Chronicles 35:18, There had been no Passover kept in Israel like that since the days of Samuel the prophet; and none of the kings of Israel had kept such a Passover as Josiah kept, with the priests and the Levites, all Judah and Israel who were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Young King Josiah reinstituted it during his time. The most powerful element in the passover is the slaughter of the lamb and the sprinkling of the blood. The Chinese and the Indians, who form the largest populations of the world, have this in their cultural and religious practices. But they don't know why?

Luke 22:20, Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.

Jesus tells you why. Animal sacrifices no more. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice for all mankind.

Father, may each one reading this not delay, but follow Jesus and receive the salvation of God.

In the same way you can have professional wedding planners, you also have funeral planners. I know some of you who are superstitious will be saying "touch wood". Can the impossible become possible? I have read many stories of rags to riches and have been naturally impressed by everything that has been said. It required great persistence, hardwork, endurance and something else. That something else is what differentiates between one rags to riches story, and the many other rags to rags stories. He has plans to prosper you

Over 30 years ago I was contemplating my plans for the future while helping a dear Brother in the Lord do some minor repairs around the house. Nothing serious was moving in my applications for jobs in Canada or the US. You will look good

In today's world many are not happy with how they look naturally. They do everything possible to get it "right". Some of these include almost permanent changes that affects their bodies for the rest of their lives. This includes tattoos. I am not going to saying anything about this but we need to be careful about the agenda of people that do these things. There is something better. Revelation 22:4, They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. How God's name is going to be on our foreheads, I am not sure. You are powerless

Years ago I watched a movie that played out the end times based on Revelations. It was quite dramatic and scary, but had a happy ending. This is what has been planned from the beginning of time. This chapter in Revelations gives a quick snapshot of the end. Revelation 20:4, And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands.
