When putting together a report in my days as a consultant we needed to compile sufficient documentation to provide the basis for our analysis and recommendations. Anything that was unsubstantiated would need to be addressed to ensure no stone was left unturned, and the work could be presented with total confidence. I am reminded of this when reading Acts chapter 25 and the statement made by Governor Festus, governor of Judea of at that time.
Festus would look silly with his boss, the Emperor, if he sent Paul to Rome without proper documentation about why he is being sent there. King Agrippa is consulted and he looks forward to hearing Paul. At face value, all this appears to be a sham. But there is a higher purpose beyond human control. The documentation will happen and Paul will go to Rome in good time.
Are you ready to trust God in spite of the challenges and trials you are going through? Paul had by now been unfairly detained for more than 2 years. Has God left him? Or, is there a higher God plan? No matter how illogical or irrational it may be, the documentation will happen and Paul will go to Rome because of the evil schemes. In spite of this, God has the upper hand and is in control. God has a plan.
Father, I am ready to follow God's plan.
